tshirt color variation!

COLOR!

Post by designboom.

These tshirts designed for Tokyo Art Beat.

They come in two different color schemes. It's cool to see how the different themes affect the mood and design of the shirt. Personally, I believe the cyan magenta shirt has a more playful look to it.

The cactuses continue!

There was a different post from designboom with products inspired by cactuses. This design was feature in Core77. I love the detail in the cushion. I just wonder if the things that are sticking out would be easily pulled out or get worn quickly. Either way, it's an absurd design, but it's still great!

Crafty Eh??

My friend are always calling me crafty, but I don't believe I could be as crafty as these people!
Design Boom showcases this result in the "Craft Punk Design" contest in Miami.

The turntable starts the motion and sets off a series of small machines. Basically, it looks like a music video, to whatever song is on the turntable.
AWESOME!

Garbage Art!

So, this guy, Alejandro S. Ceron, makes stuff that sort of looks like garbage! If you saw this stuff just out in someone's yard, you'd probably think, man, they should leave that inside until garbage day!

But it's cool. It's called beautyfull mess. I'm a big fan actually.

here are his sketches.

ZOOOOMERS?

Apparently, I should read that.

and I WILL!

5 Steps

not serious enough?

the pee poo bag. reading about it, it is an amazing product with huge potential to help the "2.6 billion people have no access to basic sanitation."

So really, it had to be called, the peepoo bag?
The design is too cutesy. It doesn't fit with the purpose of the bag. I guess the lime green font combined with the fun rounded sans serif font on top of the name, PEEPOO? Really. I think the product idea is ingenious, but the design could use some work.

Cheap car tray, ugly, but needed!

Coree77 post a short entry on a design that may not have the best name or look, but it gets the job done!

At only $14, this product will come in useful for those trying to write, use their laptops, or eat in the car. It straps to the steering wheel or the back of the seats.

So although it may not be the best overall design, it is a product that meets the needs of the consumer. And it is almost out of stock!

whatever floats your boat...or cactus

design boom compiles a huge list of varying products--from furniture to dildos, all based on one design concept, cacti.

It's incredible how so many different designs can come from one thing. It's also incredible how people can get their inspiration from anything really :-)

Sitting Green

Going Green seems to be catching on in every aspect of life. Design Boom featured pictures from The Stockholm Furniture Fair, showing creative designs in the green house exhibition.

The lights are made of plastic bags. I love seeing what people can do with old materials!
